Best to search for one word only, last or first name. Searching George Martin will miss George Alfred Martin.
Searching for Fred will return: Fred, Freddy, Alfred, Fredrick, etc. If you want to see only "Fred", enter the word with a space at the end: "Fred " (without quotes)
If you are not sure how to spell a name, enter only part of the name. Mar will return Martin, Marking, Denmark, etc.
You can try searching by location, Madison, Mineral Point, etc.
Do not use quotes. Use letters/space/comma/numbers only. Search is not case sensitive.
